Activities under The Stone Terrace Tent are FREE.
Water is one of the earth’s most precious resources. Join the Reading Public Museum as we participate in Berks Water Week, hosted by the Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards. Come to The Museum on Sunday, August 4 from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. to learn about the wonderful world of water! Hands-on activities will take place in the stone terrace tent and are provided through the generosity of the National Informal STEM Education Network.
Learn more about water in our universe during the 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. public star shows star shows in the Neag Planetarium (not included). The 1 p.m. star show, Dynamic Earth, explores the inner workings of Earth’s great life support system: the global climate. The 2 p.m. star show, Oasis in Space, transports the audience on a startling and beautiful voyage through our universe, galaxy and solar system in search of liquid water, a key ingredient for life on Earth. Activities under The Stone Terrace Tent are FREE. Regular Planetarium admission applies.
