COVID-19 Health + Safety Protocols
Current CDC guidance on masking is being followed. Please go to CDC Mask Guidance for more information. The CDC recommends that until “fully vaccinated or aged 2 or older, you should wear a mask in indoor public places”. To ensure your experience is educational, fun, and safe, The Museum has put ALL protocols recommended by the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines into place. Below are some examples ensuring your safety:
Museum + Gift Shop
Hours: 11am-5pm
Hand Sanitizing Stations: Extra hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building.
Cleaning Protocols: The Museum is cleaned thoroughly throughout the day with extra precautions in the hands-on Children's exhibits.
Masks: Masks are recommended for adults and children ages 2+ regardless of vaccination status.
Planetarium
Show schedules operating on normal schedule. See the schedules here.
Hand Sanitizing Stations: Extra hand sanitizer stations located throughout the planetarium.
Cleaning Protocols: Planetarium is cleaned and sanitized after every planetarium show.
Masks: Masks are recommended for adults and children ages 2+ regardless of vaccination status.
