Webb Images Updates on Wednesdays and Sundays at 5pm!

Please purchase tickets at the Admissions desk prior to 4:45pm.

Grab the most stellar seat in in town on Wednesday and Sunday Evenings at 5pm when the Reading Public Museum adds a new specially curated planetarium show at The Neag Planetarium. This unique show will feature the most up-to-date images and data from the James Webb Telescope. This show will be updated with new content directly from NASA on a regular basis, and run through the end of the year.

The James Webb Space Telescope, also called Webb or JWST, is a large, space-based observatory, optimized for infrared wavelengths, which will complement and extend the discoveries of the Hubble Space Telescope. It will have longer wavelength coverage and greatly improved sensitivity. The longer wavelengths enable Webb to look further back in time to find the first galaxies that formed in the early Universe, and to peer inside dust clouds where stars and planetary systems are forming today.

No advanced reservation required, tickets can be purchased before 4:45pm at The Museum Admissions desk. Check website for show updates and new content release dates.
