The Biggs Museum of Art October 10, 2018 | Departure: 8:30 a.m.

Join fellow Museum Members and RPM staff for a trip to the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, DE to view the special exhibit Audubon, Then and Now. This exhibit examines the importance of the artist and naturalist, John James Audubon, through a large exhibition of his earliest works from both the Birds of America and Viviparous Quadrupeds publications. This historical analysis will be coupled with the works of contemporary artists influenced by early naturalists.

The day will begin with a lunch at the Grey Fox Grill in historic Dover. Following lunch, guests will visit the Biggs Museum of American Art where they will receive a curator led tour of Audubon, Then and Now. The day will conclude with free time to explore the Biggs Museum before returning to Reading.
