These hands-on evenings are just for kids! Each night features a different topic and kids get to enjoy gallery time, make crafts to take home, and more! Plus pizza dinner and an evening snack are included. Each program runs from 6 – 9:30 p.m. and are children ages 6 – 12. Registration is required one week prior to each program.

October 12 | Dragons, Unicorns, and Scarabs, Oh My!
Want to know where dragons are from? Did people ever ride unicorns? Are any of these creatures real?! This month we’ll understand all of the origins of the mythical creatures in our collection and create your own imaginary beast.
November 16 | Cultures of the East
We’re very excited that our World Cultures exhibit is back. This gallery is the perfect opportunity to learn about different unique cultures from all over the world. Create art and play games native to these one-of-a-kind cultures.
December 7 | Lights On, Lights Off
What is light? We’ll answer this question and many more this month. Understand how light bulbs work, how the stars and sun create light for us, and do many activities inspired by the science of light.
January 11 | Heat it up, and Cool it down
Why does temperature fluctuate? What happens to things when they get hot or cold? Why does it matter? Let’s explore these questions and try to find answers to these important questions! It might be cold outside this time of year, but we’re boiling with curiosity!
