Reading Public Museum Girl Scouts Heart of PA Scout Program

Full Day Cadette Trees and Book Artist Workshop
May 11 | 9 a.m.  – 5 p.m.
$35 per Scout; $6 per Adult

Scouts will complete all requirements for both the Cadette Trees and Cadette Book Artist badges (there will be a 1 hour break in between workshop sessions). Save $5.00/scout.

Trees: Grab your naturalist hat and get ready to get to know trees - from the shade to the science, the fruit to the forest, and the legends to the lumber. To know trees is to love them!

Book Artist: For centuries, humans have been developing methods to create and bind paper in order to share, knowledge, and inspiration with each other and with future generations. The craft of creating books has evolved over time, but the basic human need to share words and pictures has stayed the same. In this badge, try gluing, stitching, and folding your way to shaping your own book artistry style - you'll create some spectacular gifts and keepsakes.

What's Included: All instruction, materials, Museum admission during public hours for the day of the workshop, physical badge.

A minimum of 1 leader is required for every 10 scouts. Workshops are for scouts only. Day programs include Museum admission.
