14th Annual Night at the Museum
Saturday, September 19, 6-9pm
The Museum is proud to present the Fourteenth Annual Night at The Museum—our signature fundraising event and a spectacular celebration of the fall exhibition season. This year, we are excited to unveil the highly anticipated exhibition Rockwell/Wyeth: Icons of Americana, featuring the work of two of the most celebrated figures in American art, whose vivid illustrations captured the imaginations of Americans throughout the 20th century and are admired today for their nostalgic qualities.
Inspired by these enduring visions of Americana, this year’s Night at The Museum invites guests to step back in time with a 1940s–50s celebration. Immerse yourself in the postwar era of boundless optimism, neighborhood gatherings, classic cars, Saturday Evening Post covers, and the golden age of American illustration. It’ll be a swell time!
Embrace the spirit of the era by dressing in your favorite 1940s–50s-inspired attire. Whether you channel the timeless elegance of a tea-length cocktail dress, a full-skirted silhouette, and vintage accessories, or opt for a classic suit, sport coat, suspenders, fedora, or bow tie, we encourage guests to celebrate the iconic style of postwar America. Vintage-inspired looks are encouraged but not required—come ready to enjoy an evening of classic Americana in whatever way feels most comfortable and festive.
