Buttonwood Farm featured at Brandywine River Art Museum
N.C. Wyeth, best known for his vibrant illustrations of pirates for “Treasure Island,” begat Andrew Wyeth, one of America’s most beloved artists, who in turn begat Jamie Wyeth, also a highly regarded painter.
Half of sculpture found, thanks to two kayakers!
Sometimes searching is about looking where others might not. That's where Murray and Tanner Mohn of Shillington caught sight of part of a sculpture that floodwaters carried away from the grounds of the Reading Public Museum.
Sculpture Missing
The 9-foot abstract sculpture valued at more than $100,000, created by Dutch-born artist Hans Van de Bovenkamp, became the subject of a community manhunt after it was dislodged from its perch along the banks of the Wyomissing Creek by surging floodwaters in June.

Weddings Open House
This past Thursday, the Events Department at RPM tried something new–we hosted our first-ever Wedding Open House! We invited local couples searching for a wedding venue, couples already booked with RPM and our Creative Partners and Caterers to enjoy an evening of mixing and mingling in the Atrium.

Even before getting to the exhibit, “Astronaut: Your Journey Begins on Earth,” visitors could tell that it was a smashing success. The din of children calling out excitedly overflowed the space on the third floor of the Reading Public Museum and echoed down the stone steps.
