American Women Artists from the Collection
To mark the annual celebration of Women’s History Month in March, The Reading Public Museum hosted an exhibit to highlight exceptional female artists.
Storyland One Tank Trip

Museum Announces Updates to Exhibition Calendar
The Reading Public Museum announced updates to its exhibit calendar amid December shutdown orders. The popular Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau, originally set to close January 3, will remain on view into February 2021.
Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau
From September 26, 2020 through January 3, 2021 the Reading Public Museum presents, Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau includes more than 70 original works by the artist many consider the creator of the Art Nouveau style. From 1895 to 1910 Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) was one of the most significant artists in all of Europe.
Hologram of Mummy Nefrina Coming to the Reading Public Museum
The Reading Public Museum announced its Ancient Civilizations Gallery, home to long-time resident mummy Nefrina, will undergo an extensive renovation project. The renovated exhibit will utilize state-of-the-art technology with an updated and fully automated control system which will allow Nefrina to appear as a hologram and tell visitors the story of her life.
