Reading Eagle reviews Awkward Family Photos
Normally, my focus is always on art, which is defined by a specific set of individual skills and professional criteria. On a recent visit to the Reading Public Museum, however, I happened across an exhibition of candid photographs taken by anonymous amateurs that I found entirely amusing and entertaining without art categories or otherwise redeeming qualifications.
Awkward Family Photos reviewed in the Lancaster Newspaper
At first, it seems quite interesting to see a mother and her toddler posing with a live tiger. Then it dawns on you. This is a real, live tiger. The mother is stroking the tiger’s flank, smiling happily, while the tiger rests its head on its paws. The blond child in mom’s arms looks a bit concerned.
Penske Associates Donate $5,000 to The Reading Public Museum
Penske Logistics’ Transportation Management team donated $5,000 to the Reading Public Museum after a year’s work of philanthropic efforts. The members of the Penske team presented their donation to The Museum’s Director and CEO, John Graydon Smith on Friday December 4, 2015.

The exhibition, at the Reading Public Museum, Reading, Pa., from January 31 through May 10, 2015, is based on Scholastic Entertainment's TV show Clifford The Big Red Dog™ on PBS KIDS®, offering "paws-on" adventures that reinforce "Clifford's Big Idea's" –– 10 simple tangible life lessons designed to help young children navigate their world.
