This gallery features armor and weaponry from Europe (ancient through 19th century), Oceania, Africa, Asia, and the Persian Empire. Some highlights include an impressive full Maximilian-style suit of armor from Germany, circa 1520-30; a highly ornamented mid-17th century German horse muzzle; a variety of pole arms, swords, and horse armor elements; a 17th-century composite three-quarter armor for a cuirassier; a German close helmet and a late-16th-century burgonet; a complete armor for a Japanese samurai; intricate Persian arm guards, shield, and helmet; and jewel-encrusted daggers.
