Museum Discovery Camp 2024

Museum Discovery Camp is for children entering grades 1st-5th in the fall of 2024. Camps run Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 1: June 10-14 - Space Out for Summer - Embark on an intergalactic adventure at our 'Space Out for Summer' camp! Blast off into a universe of fun as we explore the cosmos through exciting activities, games, and crafts. Join us for an out-of-this-world experience where imaginations soar through the final frontier!

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 2: June 17-21 - Backyard Scientist - Calling all explorers and scientists! Join us for an unforgettable adventure as we dive into the wonders of nature! Expand your mind with hands-on experiments, discovery sessions, and nature expeditions! Let your curiosity lead the way as you uncover the secrets of the natural world in your own backyard!

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 3: June 24-28 - Catapults, Castles, and Creativity - Welcome to our 'Catapults, Castles, and Creativity' camp, where your imagination takes flight! Dive into the realm of medieval marvels as we design and construct our own catapults, build majestic castles, and unleash our creativity to reign supreme! 

No Camp - July 1-5 - "Happy Independence Day!"

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 4: July 8-12 - Fun with Forensics - Join us for an exhilarating week of 'Fun with Forensics' camp, where every camper becomes a detective! Dive into the fascinating world of crime scene investigation as we uncover clues, analyze evidence, and solve thrilling mysteries. From fingerprint analysis to DNA extraction, sharpen your investigative skills and embark on an adventure filled with intrigue, suspense, and plenty of hands-on fun!

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 5: July 15-19 - Medieval Time Traveler - Embark on a journey with us through the Middle Ages as we step back in time to the age of knights, castles, chivalry, and DRAGONS as we explore the wonders of medieval history. From tournaments to crafting coats of arms, to exploring The Lost World of Dragons, immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of the Middle Ages! Did we mention DRAGONS?

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 6: July 22-26 - Gross Weird Science - Get ready to dive into the world of the bizarre and intriguing! From slimy experiments to wacky concoctions, unleash your inner mad scientist as we explore the stranger side of science. Dive into gooey substances, unravel the mysteries of strange phenomena, and conduct experiments that will make your hair stand on end. Join us for a week of gross-out fun, where the weirder, the better!

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 7: July 29-August 2 - Craft That Culture - Embark on a global journey of creativity and diversity at our 'Craft That Culture' camp! Explore the rich tapestry of world cultures through vibrant arts and crafts activities inspired by traditions from around the globe. Immerse yourself in the beauty and ingenuity of different cultures as we craft, create, and celebrate our shared human heritage. Join us for a week of cultural exploration and artistic discovery!

WAITLIST ONLY! - Week 8: August 5-9 - Masterpiece Maker - Calling all aspiring Picassos and da Vincis! Join us for a week of artistic adventure as we explore different styles and techniques, from impressionism to abstract modern, as we create our own gallery-worthy works of art. With guidance from experienced instructors and plenty of room for self-expression, unleash your creativity and leave your mark on the world as a true masterpiece maker!

Get ready for a week filled with unexpected surprises, spontaneous adventures, and a dash of whimsy. From mystery activities to spontaneous challenges, each day will bring something new and exciting. Embrace the element of surprise as we embark on a journey of fun, laughter, and random acts of camp magic. Join us for an unforgettable experience where anything can happen!

Week 10: August 18-23 - Art into Autumn - Welcome to 'Art into Autumn' camp, where we celebrate the beauty of the season through creativity! As the leaves begin to change colors and the air turns crisp, join us in exploring various art forms inspired by autumn's splendor. From painting vibrant landscapes to crafting with nature, immerse yourself in the rich hues and textures of the season. Let's capture the essence of autumn together through art, experiments, and the warmth of shared creativity!  (Please verify your school district's start date BEFORE registering for this camp!)

Advanced registration is required! Full payment and completion of this packet are due at registration. Registration closes the Monday prior to the start of the camp week. All monies and completed forms must be submitted by that time or registration cannot be guaranteed. You will receive a confirmation via email once payment has been received and processed. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing. Your camper's admittance is not guaranteed until you receive your confirmation via email.
