Join Curator, Scott Schweigert for an engaging, educational tour through art of the past from the ancients to the modernists. Each class will explore major stylistic trends, key artists, important monuments, social and political contexts, and a discussion of techniques and patronage. When appropriate, the class will explore The Museum’s own collection as a jumping off point for key concepts and ideas. The sessions for this course include:

• Early Christian and Byzantine Art

• Age of the Cathedrals: Medieval Europe

• Neoclasscism and Romanticism

• Twentieth Century Art

Registration is required. 
Cost: $120 for members, $180 for non-members
