Berks Now: Lynn Krizan

October 28, 2006 - January 21, 2007

This exhibition of the work of Harry Lynn Krizan, professor of Fine Arts at Kutztown University, consists of fifteen paintings and drawings that involve a pictoral discussion of objects from nature.

Through the use of diagrammatic drawing and acute perceptual rendering, the work investigates the various ways we perceive and understand nature. The most recent paintings involve the use of astrophotography as a collage element and as a source for painted images.

His work has been exhibited at the Rosenfeld Gallery, the Allentown Art Museum, Gettysburg College, the Pennsylvania School of the Arts, and the State Museum of Pennsylvania.

Berks Now gives local artists the opportunity to display their work to the Berks County community, and is supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
