The Reading Public Museum invites you to explore the unexpected intersections of two seemingly different disciplines – art and science – on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4, 2007. Sponsored and coordinated by the Friends of the Reading Museum, the "Art Meets Science Festival" complements "The Nature of Holography" exhibition on display at the Museum from February 3 – April 29, 2007. Visitors will learn about the intricate relationship of art and science through fractals, optical illusions, perception, computerized music mixing, holograms, da Vinci and the Golden Mean and more.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from Noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults (18-60), $6 for children/seniors/students (with ID), members and children under the age of four are free.
