
The
sixth annual Art of the Craft,
a high-quality invitational craft show and
sale featuring the work of both contemporary
and traditional artisans from Berks County
and beyond, will be held at the Reading
Public Museum on Saturday, November
15, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, November
16, noon – 5 p.m.
The
show will feature a wide range of arts and
crafts, from pottery, jewelry and glass,
to wood, paintings and fiber.
Members
of the Reading Public Museum are invited
to shop during the special “Members
Only Preview” which
will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on
Saturday. If you are not a member, you may
join at the door. Members also receive 10%
off all regularly priced items in The Museum
Shop, which will be open and fully stocked
with gifts for all budgets.
Nancy
Chapple, Museum Shop Manager, stated, “We’re
very proud of the quality and diversity
of our vendors. This year’s show will
feature old favorites and exciting new artists
from near and far. If you haven’t
discovered Art of the Craft yet,
come and see one of the true gems of the
holiday craft show season. You’ll
find something for everyone on your gift
list.”

All proceeds from the show will directly
benefit the Museum.
Admission
per day is: $8 adults (18-60), $6 children/seniors/college
students (w/ID) and free to members and
children under four years old.
