Easter at the Museum
Continue
an old Berks County tradition and celebrate Easter at the Museum! This
FREE event will be held on Easter Sunday, April 12th from noon until
4 p.m. Dress up the family and join the classic "Easter Parade."
Bring
the kids for an Easter egg hunt in the Arboretum. Great prizes for each
of three age groups, candy, activities for kids and more! Visit with
the Easter Bunny for pictures, and make the memories last. Stroll the
grounds while enjoying refreshments.
Egg Hunt Times:
1:00 p.m. - Ages 3-5; 1:15 p.m. -
Ages 6-9; 1:30 p.m. - Ages 10-13
Step inside the Museum for a special Easter gallery presentation on Tintoretto's painting "The Raising of Lazarus" given by Museum Director and CEO Ron Roth at 2:30 p.m. Hop over to The Planetarium to catch a Star Show at 1, 2, and/or 3 p.m. (small admission fee applies).
While you're there, sign up to give a lucky child the chance to win a FREE week at this year's Museum Discovery Camp!
Come
to The Museum Shop with an old photo of yourself at a past "Easter at
the Museum" to be eligible for a special prize, and the opportunity
to be in future publications. Leave it at the front desk and fill out
a special photo release form. We'll scan it quickly and return it to
you the following week. Winner will be chosen at random from entries
submitted.
