Learn About Us

The RPM has something for everyone. Adults, families and students alike can find inspiration in the Museum’s permanent galleries and special exhibitions. Programs designed to compliment the Museum’s vast collection are offered throughout the year. Visit our online Calendar for a list of Programs and Events.

Families

Story Thursdays
On the first and third Thursday of each month, the Department of Lifelong Learning staff offers a story reading, brief tour and hands-on activity for ages 4 and 5. Cost: $5 per participating child. Parents/chaperones are free. (Check the Museum calendar for program dates titles)

Family Exhibition Guides
Families can explore the Museum’s galleries (and Arboretum) at their own pace with our family-friendly gallery guides. Guides are available in the Museum’s Atrium.

Family Learning Gallery
Come and see the Museum’s newest space: the Family Learning Gallery. Located on the ground floor, the Family Learning Gallery will be transformed in conjunction with the Museum’s special exhibitions.
